Wheelers Hill, VIC

(Project One)

“Embarking on this garden really was one of collaboration from both us and our clients, whilst holding an appreciation for Nature from both sides.”

AT Garden Spaces

A Little Background

All gardens have a story and journey, with memorable moments filled with collaboration, laughter, hard work and a love from us to the garden we hold in our hands.

In this instance the journey will be a continuous one…

Beginning with an “Excuse me can you please have a look at our garden,” after literally finding us working up the street! We began what we thought would be another beautifully structured and integrated landscape.

Little did we know where this journey would take us...

From our years in the industry you don’t often find a garden or clients to work with like this. The garden below is rare to us and holds a unique place in our hearts. Now 13 years on we are still collaborating and caring for this garden with our clients.

Beginning as an all Australian Native garden, with the exception of a small section dedicated to their love of Japan, this garden has certainly evolved over the years.

We have been extremely fortunate to have been able to grow with this garden and as we develop new skills, find new and exciting ways of creating gardens that help give back to this beautiful world, we know our clients get just as excited as we do!

These days there are some fruit trees eloquently, but methodically placed within the landscape. With a few places for them to grow some of their own food and give the rest away. They are always eager to see what we will come up with next in the ever evolving landscape, unless they get to the idea first then the real fun begins…
