Wheelers Hill, VIC

(Project Three)

“We have planned the spaces together, however the superior knowledge and experience of the team has informed the wonderful results thus far.

We love the attention to detail which reflects the teams knowledge of our lifestyle and our homes history. Hard working, well informed and extremely professional we are fortunate to have a team who work closely with us and provide such splendid results.”

A Little Background

Not sure where to start or if you can help, but we want to rejuvenate this area, is what we were first told about this project.

With the amount of vegetation within this small garden space we knew there would be an ecosystem residing within it waiting to be upgraded.

After cleaning out the invasive plants and weeds, holding onto any beneficial plant species with the idea to add more, we set to work on the water feature.

Yet again this too was over grown with water plants that had gotten out of hand and the river bed hadn’t run in years. With an emphasis on creating an ecosystem that encourage dragon and butterflies plus frogs, whilst holding a space for some fish, we had our work cut out for us.

We had to reshape and appropriately line the river bed of the water feature, whilst including a main line from the pond to run up through the newly constructed waterfall.

Once completed we set to picking out the right plants to suit the environment. Resulting in a section of their garden as their own aquatic ecosystem.
