Paying It Forward was born from the wake of the third catastrophic Wildfire event seen throughout Victoria in under a 20year period. The magnitude of these fires has caused such devastation to our Environment, Communities and the loss of millions of our unique Wildlife. With the fear of these volatile wildfires occurring more frequently, many of our native flora and fauna will not be able to recover quick enough, leading them down the path of extinction.
With every garden created a new ecosystem is brought to life, and with each a corridor is formed, connecting to one another until it reaches our natural landscapes and beyond. By starting in your own home garden you can create a move towards a more ecological diversity where soil health is celebrated, biodiversity is brimming and sanctuary is given to your local wildlife.
And by utilising our Paying It Forward initiatives your efforts extend far beyond your home garden and back to those on the ground helping our unique Wildlife and Landscapes.
How Can You Help
“A selection of consultations that will help you remedy any problems in your garden with the guidance of us.”
We’ve created three tiers for you to choose from, with each tier representing a different price point and consisting of varied amounts of detail for the corresponding consultation.
All of these donation prices have been set to help people afford to participate in our new programme, but if you feel you can add to the amount set out and make a greater contribution for one of the consults below, by all means please do so.
Lastly, to enable us to reach more people and help with whatever is troubling them within their garden, we are releasing 10 consults at a time, with each tier is specifically targeted towards a small space or issue. These consultations, whilst still in depth, are not meant to be used in the context of larger areas that you may need help with.
For those who select a tier that does not align with the information outlined in your questionnaire we will suggest alternative services better suited to your needs.

Step One - Select which tier best suits you and your gardens needs.
Step Two - We need a bit of information from you, one being a small downloadable questionnaire and the other a submission form, which are both found at the bottom of this page.
Step Three - Once we’ve received your forms we will be in contact with a confirmation email (and possibly some further questions) to let you know if we can help, along with an invoice outlining your chosen tier or amount you wish to donate.
Step Four - Once payment has been received we get our hands dirty, going into the nitty gritty details of how to remedy whatever it is you need help with.

Once we’ve received your donation we will pass this on to the chosen non for-profit organisation or wildlife carer.
A remittance advice slip will be emailed to you confirming your donation has been passed on.
At the end of a week or set of 10 consults (which ever comes first) we will post on our Instagram page the donations given.
Your name and amount will only be disclosed if you have ticked the “Happy For My Name & Donation Amount Announced” check box on the submission form.

Purely Plants
For those who have a space in their garden that has completely stumped them. You’ve tried plants, but they didn’t work and you’re not sure what to do next.
In this tier you will need to know the environmental factors in detail from your soil structure, drainage, sun and shade availability, wind and rainfall exposure, etc.
If you’re after a little more help with this tier we recommend utilising our Plants To You service to help select the best quality stock and deliver it to your door.
Tier Two

Delving Deeper
If you’re needing a more detailed approach to helping you in the garden then this tier will explore a whole range of elements.
We cover it all from landscape design ideas, soil health, plants, maintenance and garden care, what materials will work best in the space you’ve got and where to source them.
If you’re after a little more help with this tier we recommend utilising one of our in person services to help achieve your goals. Please see either our Onsite Education, Onsite Consultation, DIY or Landscaping services.
Tier Three

Following Up
Excited about the prospect of getting your garden troubles attended to, but want to make sure you are on the right track. The following up tier entails everything in tier two, but with a follow up email to see how you are progressing and to answer any further questions.

A Small Side Note
We like to be as transparent as we can and as a small landscaping business there is only so much we can offer. Whilst all proceeds from the “Pay It Forward - Consults For Conservation” will be directly given to an organisation helping Australian Wildlife or Landscape Regeneration, the cost of any of our other services you wish to accompany your consult unfortunately cannot be donated.
The organisation where proceeds will be donated to, will be selected by us and will be announced with every round of consultations released.
